Ristoranti.it is a company that helps restaurateurs by providing a management service for orders, reservations, and deliveries for one or more restaurants.
As a UX team, we were involved to analyze the current flow of the service and its interface, to understand its criticalities and possible improvements in usability and look & feel.
Through a discovery, we explored the domain of the project. With an elevator pitch we understood the vision of the product and the perspective of the competitors, we defined the dimensions on which to structure the first personas and finally we mapped the flow through an eventstorming, identifying actors and pain points.
We took a photograph of the current interface by creating a UI inventory and a heuristic analysis.
These have identified further critical issues compared to those highlighted in the discovery workshop.
This allowed us to create a backlog prioritized with the stakeholders of interventions on the user experience of the applications.
We worked iteratively with the Dev team of Ristoranti.it and the Product Owner, presenting interaction design interventions through prototypes that we tested on users, to then be released to the development team in the form of mockups.
