Small, testable and measurable objectives. Reducing means risking less and taking the best route. Empathy and use of shared metrics allows to follow a strategy with measurable and tangible results.
People and ability to change. Communication and involvement of the whole team in the planning stages to meet everyone's needs and keep the process aligned.
Base your choices on qualitative and quantitative data, not on personal opinions and beliefs. Too often top-down choices are made which turn out to be bankrupt.
I Use co-design tools and techniques to take decisions and understand problems. The use of structured ideation and modeling activities allows a high involvement and alignment between people.
Working for many years in a team where I was the only designer, I learned to have cross skills ranging from research, to marketing, up to the implementation of pattern libraries.
I'm a nerd and DIY enthusiast: I love to get my hands dirty developing the mockups and guidelines I design. I can write HTML, S/CSS (I love BEM and Atomic Design), and a bit of Javascript.
In this talk I talked about how within the Spreaker from iHeart growth team we structured a continuous learning process through the definition and measurement of experiments, the difficulties encountered and the results obtained.
